Red curb at Esplanade Elementary

A 40-year resident described heavier school traffic, U-turns, and accidents since the school opened, and strongly supported the red curb as a safety improvement despite losing two parking spots.

Lives directly across from the proposed red curb and opposed it, saying the real problem is school traffic and that losing four guest parking spaces would hurt his multi-family household; he wants traffic direction and enforcement instead.

Also opposed the red curb on item 4.1, describing blocked driveways, speeding, cars being hit, and a need for police enforcement rather than more red curb; later spoke in favor of permit parking on Almond Avenue.
