Holiday Skate Center rezoning

A former DJ at the rink, asking the commission not to rezone the site for housing and noting Orange County is down to one remaining skate rink.

An artistic skater of 20+ years who misses the rink, opposing rezoning and noting homes built there would face freeway-adjacent environmental issues too.

Thanked the commission for forwarding the historical commission proposal to council and urged preservation of the rink building rather than demolition and rezoning.

Spoke to the rink's economic draw from across the region and asked the commission to oppose rezoning from commercial to residential, keeping the possibility of reopening alive.
